The picture is private. BUT you're right, the chances of that being true gold are very low. 3 ounces of gold right now would be worth around 4500 USD. You can easily test your sample to tell if it is gold or fake (like pyrite). Take a knife and try and scratch it. If it scratches you may be in luck. Pyrite usually is found in cubic formations. Gold is also very ductile if you can try to bend the sample you have.
