How to get my body like my best friend and so many other people?

My best friend is the type to go to Wendy's with me and get a super sized combo, 4 piece nugget, and frosty and never gains a pound. He is like 5'9 nicely toned swimmers build and he really doesn't work out that much. I am the one that actually has to but work in and sacrifice for my body. I will sometimes just get a small fry and water i am 5'9 also and when I last weight was 231lbs. I mean I am a weight lifting guy and they do say muscle ways more than fat so maybe that's were most of the weight is coming from? I also know based on DNA and my body type I will never be just a stick thin person, but why is it harder for me to obtain a swimmers build and eat what I want like my friend and so many others. I actually have to work out daily and basically starve to get little results while people like my friend can eat what ever and still say a nice cut up size? I hate it! That Twink and swimmers build is like the body to have in the gay community and I noticed they get all the attention. I want to obtain a healthy ripped swimmers build. it sounds pretty healthy. i really wouldn't count the morning snack as a meal though. you could probably eat that with your breakfast. try changing your cereal to something healthier. i eat Kashi GoLean cereal,taste isn't that bad,and it has less calories than any other cereal i have had. don't worry about the ice cream though,i would recommend eating it a little earlier though if you insist on eating a dessert. spread your meals evenly throughout the day,and you can throw in one meal,i usually eat a protein bar and an orange after my workout.

A young refugee came to our house today, he was a young, well mannered and courteous man who wanted a drink while he was delivering leaflets and we invited him. We are in Ireland. Back in the 1980's my parents taped a dinosaur special off of TV. It was narrated by Christopher Reeves and included stop-motion animation (or possibly claymation) segments depicting dinosaurs. It was my favorite documentary for the longest time growing up, but the VHS has long since deteriorated and I doubt my parents even HAVE the copy anymore. Collection agency trying to collection money that I do not own from Rental Apartment. Legal help needed.?

I lived in an apartment about 23 month in CA, just shy of 2 years. According to the property owner, they send a invoice for cleaning and ect... It was never actually delivered, but "return to sender". 3 month after I moved out, I received a collection agency letter. The collection agency said that I own them 390 buck with 13 in interest and .1 USD/day. I asked for the itemized inovice, they send all the individual invoice with that "return to sender" letter without address shown. According to the contract that all charges should be pro-rated to 36 months, but collection agency does not seem to understand it and refuse to adjust the charges and keep sending the same inovice for cleaning, carpet changing..... I am happy to pay them for the money that I actually own, but collection agency do not want to make any adjustment. Should I just file a lawsuit against them and stop this non sens? Please help.

As you know, the shipping carrier they use is streamlite; and they deliver it to your nearest USPS post office, where USPS will deliver it to you with your regular mail. Should I be worried about my 12 month olds diet?

My 1 year old eats on a schedule (breakfast within 20 minutes of waking up, lunch between 11 and 12, snack at 3, and dinner at 6) but for lunch and dinner I'm worried about what he's eating. For breakfast he has oatmeal, pancakes, yogurt, or toast, and some milk. Snack time he has some animal crackers, or some regular crackers, maybe some raisin bread, and some milk. But for lunch and dinner he just doesn't want to eat a normal meal. He'll eat green beans, bananas, watermelon, grapes, hot dogs, he had his first pb&j the other day and liked it. But he won't eat like ANYTHING else. If we go out to a restaurant he'll eat mashed potatoes and gravy but thats about it. We've tried giving him organic chicken nuggets, grilled chicken, fish sticks, small amounts of tuna, just ANYTHING that is normal and he just won't eat it. I feel like we're stuck feeding him toast, yogurt, bananas, etc. and basically just the same stuff ALL the time. Should I be worried about this or will he grow out of it? He at least TRIES everything we put in front of him, it's just whether or not he wants to keep eating it or not.

Getting toned up question?

I've been going to the gym for two-three hours every week for two weeks so far. I feel sore and am starting to gain little more weight. Im not eating to healthy since my work schedule is crazy. I propbly eat chicken nuggets with fries. I stick with water rest of the day some times gaitoraid. I work out 30I min of cardiovascular on high resistance and then I spend the rest of work out on weights pressing and using the varies machines. My question is when will I start seeing results. I am slowly getting stronger the season getting more manageable. Is there any thing I can do to get faster result. I just want a more toned body.

How can I get my pell grant back after being denied?!?

I just got my fin aid letter from my school (I am a senior), and it shows that I am not getting a pell grant, which means I will also not get my smart grant! I also lost the Rober Byrd Scholarship as the funding was cut. My brother graduated college, and it looks like my parents earned a little more money last year, and I'm guessing that's the reason, but I haven't been notified why by the fed govt. Both of my parents work (my mom's is stable, my dad's is on and off), and both work at second part time jobs. I work during the school year, and am having a hard time finding any kind of job this summer. I live in a distressed area in Ohio, and go to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. The only reason I was able to attend there is because I got scholarships, grants, and loans which barely cover my costs. I have been so grateful for that! This year my dad took on a part time job delivering court summons to help pay his debts, and the expenses from this job (especially gasoline) made the job not worth it, as he found out at the end of the year. My parents are paying their way out of a bankruptcy, and will be done with that in January. They have no equity at all in our home, and are underwater on the mortgage. They do not want to default on the mortgage (it is a small very modest house), and are really really struggling to meet expenses. They have student loans for their three children, and are not in default on those. Is there anything I can do to talk to someone in the federal government about this? I don't know how to contact anyone about this. I am terrified that I won't be able to complete my senior year. My parents are beside themselves as well. We know none of us can get a loan for $19,000. If you know what I should do, please help!

What the hell do women see in tall men (who are hardly attractive)?

I acknowledge how certain movie stars, like Gregory Peck, Jeff Goldblum, Anthony Perkins, Clint Eastwood, Ted Danson, Will Ferrell, Chevy Chase, Clark Gable, Christopher Reeve and, to a lesser extent, Gary Cooper come off as terribly attractive and rugged even if they are rather too tall, gangly, lanky or, in the case of beefy types, imposing. I've found that in real life that tall men just seem so damn awkward and scrawny. Do you mean to tell me that tall guys don't seem too scrawny, dorky and clumsy a lot of times? Women seem so damn shallow even though it's men who should be focused more on looks and sex. I think women are getting to be immoral bitches who look down on short men. Actually, there are plenty of shorter men in real life but the media would have you believe that guys are, uh, at least six inches taller than women. Sometimes, I don't know what women see in men at all. Men look like stupid beasts, especially when they have facial hair. Furthermore, they often have bird legs and, in the case of fatter men, their guts are too big for their bodies. I also think a lot of men exaggerate their height. Women stopped wearing high heels frequently, while men continue to do so. At any event, most tall men are ugly from what I've seen. Tall soldiers and cops aren't so ugly, mind. Perhaps it's an ego thing. For women. They want to see who can date the tallest men. Unfortunately, tall men are enormously more likely than shorter guys to be seen with a chick and that's a bloody fact.

Dr changed my due date due to..please help?

i am being monitored for high blood pressure for a month now and at my last appt i had my second nst which was beautiful but my blood pressure is still high so finally after a month they put me on a low dose of bp meds. 1991 Ford Explorer Transmission Problems?

1991 Ford Explorer automatic tranny problems. I drove it home yesterday and went to leave just few hours later and it would not move. Now it does have drive and reverse but only at a idle, give it gas and the engine just over Reeves. The oil level is great and is not burnt. Any ideas????

Overly interactive neighbor or am I overreacting?

I apologize for the length of this yet wanted to provide enough detail so that your opinions could be formed to help me determine if I'm just overreacting or if the neighbor is crossing the line. Here goes: I have recently and only temporarily moved in to my boyfriends house and everything is fabulous, except for one of his neighbors. I have expressed feelings of discomfort to my boyfriend and while he agrees that his neighbor is crazy, he is too nice of a guy to really say anything. For the past 4 years my boyfriend has lived next door to a family of 4. There is a husband, wife, daughter and son. At some point the wife confided in my boyfriend that her husband is crazy and she and the kids are planning on moving out once the youngest, her son, graduates high school. Over time she continues to give him little nuggets of info about her crazy husband and periodically brings baked goods and bakes treats for our dogs, though her family has no pets. In the past six months she has brought over more than 50 name brand shirts from a designer outlet store for my boyfriend. Following her sons recent graduation her husband was out of town for a few nights. In his absence, she allowed her son to throw a big pool party, complete with underage drinking. At one point, close to midnight, she came over asking to borrow some ice and when my boyfriend explained he doesn't have an ice maker, we use trays, she asked to borrow a couple. When there was a possible threat of cops coming to her house to break up the party,she rounded up all the trash and put the cans next to our trashcans in front of his garage. The next day she sent my boyfriend a text and then stopped by to tell my boyfriend what was going on, and to give him another bag of polo shirts. He ensured her he wouldn't mention it to her husband and thanked her for the shirts. Although I am clearly home all day, she does not come over unless he is home. We have only had a few interchanges and she gave me a couple dresses, which I followed up with a thank you card and personal thanks. She seems to dart from her car to the front door when I'm around and it makes me wonder why she seems to avoid me and then comes over multiple times a day when my boyfriend is around. When we decided to leave some clothes we were going to donate on top of a shopping bag full of clothes she left at the front door, to try and send her the hint, she moved the bag so that it was directly in front of the door on the welcome mat and then took the bag from the new phone book that was on the step and hung it from the doorknob with a box of turnovers. I'm trying my best to ignore her and to maintain the neighborly relationship between my boyfriend and his neighbors but I can't help but feel uncomfortable by her constant gifts, unsolicited advice, unsolicited and detailed personal information, and frequent interruptions. We've tried to ignore her when she rings the bell but she just calls, texts or comes back later at all hours of night/day. When my boyfriend and I talk about it I feel terrible because he can't control her actions and yet I feel like something needs to be said or things will continue to be weird. He is under the impression that she's just crazy but harmless. I find it odd that a middle aged woman thinks discussing her marital issues with her twenty-something neighbor is acceptable. I can't help but shake the feeling that there are some deeper issues going on with this family and I'd rather they not involve myself or my boyfriend. I want to be respectful and ensure that the relationship with the neighbors remains friendly, and at the same time feel like this lady is overstepping her neighborly boundaries and taking advantage of my boyfriends kindness. Her most recent gifts include nutritional weight loss drinks, bars and supplements because she remembered his mother saying he was trying to slim down. She was also kind enough to drop off the dvd explaining the pyramid process and how he can supplement his income by selling the products. Help Diarrhea 10 Days!?

For the past 1 1/2 weeks, I have been having diarrhea. It started 10 days ago, I used the restroom and it was completely watery diarrhea. My Bowel movements have been weird. I used to go to the restroom 2-3 times a day, but now I go once every few days. 2 Days ago I went and it was fairly normal still soft though. What to expect at 36 week apt?

I go for my 36 week apt tomorrow. For some reason i'm very nervous about it lol. I guess just bc it's getting closer to my due date. My doctor told me at 14 weeks that I may have to have a c section because my cervix was back so far and the way my uterus was shaped. Calling all artist! (painters; Acrylic, Oil on canvas)?

The levels of canvases relates to the tightness of the weave and the quality of the thread used. The lower the quality the more irregularities in the canvas and the more gesso you will need to get it smooth. The lower quality paints have less pigment load which makes the paint more transparent. More pigment load covers much better. You can get a liner brush or a rigger brush to do fine lines. You can use a round or a bright on its edge but you need to load the brush with a thinner paint and make sure it has a chiseled edge. The smoother the surface you paint on the finer the lines. You can try to paint on an artist panel which is made of plywood or particle board. If you want to stick to the canvas you need to gesso it with several coats, like 5 or 6, lightly sanding between them. Don't put it on to thick it wont really help out. The more coats the smoother you can get it. I have also used quills and acrylic ink on my acrylic paintings to get a fine line and thinned oils on oil paintings. Part of the difficulty in your painting is probably just experience with the media. Do some studies. Struggle with it for a bit and you will get better. Realistic painting is usually done in layers of application called "glazing" Each layer of paint is used to refine detail, adjust color and gain color depth. CAN I WIRE BOTH THESE SUBS TO MY AMP?

I have a Memphis 12"rockford sub 250 watts rms and its dvc and is wired at 2like ohms then I have a Rockford r1 12" 150 watts rms and 4 ohms cuz its svc. I hooked both of em up to me kicked amp on the same positive and negative terminals and I have a kicker 250 watt mono block amp that delivers 140 watts rms at 4ohms and 250 rms at 2ohms .the subs sound great and pound and I have them in different boxes but I was just wondering how much power each sub is getting and is this doing any harm? The amp runs just as cool too

Passed out at work for the first time, anyone experience this?

I'm a 4th year medical student. I was at work a few days ago and during a mole removal procedure I passed out, and hit the ground. I've never done anything like that before. I've been in surgery many times, and delivered babies. I'm so confused why this happened. I spoke to the doctor he said I just had a vaso-vagal episode and that it was nothing. Has this randomly ever happened to anyone??? I'm scared to do procedures now because of this random event.

Severely Depressed and Alone.?

I'm 19 years old and I just graduated from high school. I don't get any joy out of life anymore and I'm not even excited about being done with high school. I have only a few friends, roughly ten. I hide the fact that I'm depressed in front of my friends. I moved around schools a lot in high school which probably didn't help. I am generally outgoing and nice, and some people tell me I'm funny. I have never had a girlfriend in my life and am still a virgin. Believe me, I have tried many times to get a girlfriend and always get rejected, which ruins my pshyche even more. I'm in fairly good shape and people have told me over the years that I'm good looking. I have been going to a phychologist who has been practicing for over thirty years. And after two years he hasn't done me any good. He doesn't seem to relate to me because he's nearly 70 years old. I tried a few anti-depressents and the side effects were too much to handle. My parents just think that I'm just going through normal teenage stuff and don't understand the seriousness of it. Deep down inside I feel completely alone and empty and often think about offing myself because I feel like my life isn't really worth living. I have always felt completely disconnected from the whole world and I don't really relate to anyone at all. None of my life seems enjoyable even when I'm with my friends and lately I have been losing interest in all the things that I used to enjoy. I often cry when I'm alone for no apparent reason. The whole world just seems bland and plane. Seasons don't even effect me, I feel the exact same way in the winter and in the summer. My fear is that I'll wake up in twenty years and my whole life will have just past me by right before my eyes. I have told all of this to my psychologist and he still hasn't helped me in the slightest way. To top all of this off I am a convicted felon and am on supervised probation for the next five years for possessing a large amount of marijuana with the intent to deliver. Sorry for the length of this but I'm in the time of my life where I need some advice. Any posative responses would be appreciated.

Diarrhea and junk food?

For the past 1 1/2 weeks, I have been having diarrhea. It started 10 days ago, I used the restroom and it was completely watery diarrhea. My Bowel movements have been weird. I used to go to the restroom 2-3 times a day, but now I go once every few days. 2 Days ago I went and it was fairly normal still soft though. Today is the first time I've went in a few days, and It was fine for a couple seconds, than turned into watery diarrhea again! Tonight, I've eaten 3 little bags of cookies, 6 mcdonalds chicken nuggets, some fries, and a fruit pop, and some Quaker treats. Please someone help me I am going on vacation in a few days and want to feel better.

Ideas on what to feed my 1 yr old for lunch?

okay so he is 14 months old. and he has a very very picky 3 year old big brother. he and his brother eat really good for me for breakfast, and he's easy to feed for dinner because he normally eats what we eat. but i normally don't sit down and eat lunch with them, my 3 year old only has certain foods that he will eat for lunch, and i don't want my 1 year old being picky like that. and i don't want to feed him the same things every single day.. so far what i do feed him is things like, halves of ham/ turkey sandwiches, he loves grilled cheeses, chicken nuggets, all sorts of vegetables but so far i am scared to feed him raw veggies as he doesn't have all of his teeth yet, he loves fruit and i try to mix that up, he loves yogurt, but he gets fruit and yogurt some times for breakfast along with his cereal or whatever..... i thought i would ask you guys about what you feed your little ones for lunch every single day? he has also gotten in to this phase where he thinks its funny to toss his food over the side of the highchair and so more is ending up in the floor and then in the trash then is ending up in his tummy.. i just want to try and fix stuff that i know he will love to eat. he's a great eater and i want to continue to build on that, but i am afraid if i feed him what the 3 year old eats all of the time he will also grow to be picky.. thanks..

He only wants to eat chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and any other junk food laying around the house. I want to break that habit of his, he needs to learn to eat other things, too. I babysit him everyday, and my parents are real light on him. They give him whatever he wants, so I'm trying to be the parent while they're gone. I offer him rice, or eggs, or cereal, but no, he always wants hot dogs. What should I do? I don't think you can drink too much water. It's always good to stay hydrated. I play tennis, and I recommend the Gatorade Fruit Punch packs 15 minutes BEFORE activity. They are a concentrate that is kind of thick, and it tastes good and gives you a lot of energy. After a workout, protein is always good, to help rebuild the muscle tears. So things like meat, or peanut butter crackers. Also, chocolate milk is supposed to be REALLY good for you after you workout. Fruit and veggies are always good to eat, and so are granola bars. Eat your breakfast earlier, and eat a big, healthy breakfast so that you don't crave snacks throughout the day. Breakfast is like the most important meal of the day. And yes, your dad is correct. I think the frozen foods are high in sodium. I don't think ALL frozen food is horrible, but you're always better off eating organic and natural foods. Hope this helped. :) good luck

I recently got stopped for speeding and didn't have proper tags/plates because we just moved to California. I received my ticket, but since i'm under 18 the officer said "since you;re a juvenile i'm not required to have you sign the ticket, i just have to have you verbally agree you're getting it, and i'll notify you in the mail with your court date" Now in the mail i received form jv-625 and it has some court info, but according to some other sites i need to get served with sc-100 or sc-120. yesterday a lady from court called and said if i could go down to sign some paperwork (my papers for me to be served) because she didn't have time to come to my small town. Court is tomorrow and technically i never got "served". Will the court consider the jv-625 form a served notice? It came in the mail unsigned and unstamped by anybody from the courts. Even if it was signed and stamped would that count in the court of law?
