Why are people so quick to say D Wade is better than Carmelo?

Carmelo has never had a chance to play on a good team. And dont tell me the Nuggets were ever a good team for christ sake. Nor the Knicks last year with 1 player going against the Celtics lol. Amare was useless with injuries. I believe Melo will prove how good he is next year when the Knicks get more pieces
